After Carrodus, Sarah Crowe became winemaker in 2013 after a period (2009-2013) when Paul Bridgman served as winemaker. Crowe was the chief winemaker at Brokenwood in the Hunter Valley for 12 years from 2000, and in 2009 she was awarded the Hunter Valley Legend & Wine Industry Award.

Crowe, who started his career as a manager at a nursery company, started by understanding the Yarra Yering vineyards and made it his mission to make creative wines without significantly changing the style of Yarra Yering wines established by Carrodus. Since Sarah took over as winemaker, techniques have been adopted such as using pneumatic presses to bring out pure fruit flavors and reducing the proportion of MLF in white wines to bring freshness to the wines.
