Bergström's origins date back to 1997, when John Bergström, who came to the United States from Sweden at the age of 17, planted Pinot Noir on 6 hectares in the Chuheilum Mountains of the Willamette Valley. After graduating from Oregon State University, Josh Bergstrom, John's son and current brewer, experienced vintages at Rex Hill and Ponzi, and in 1998 moved to Beaune, France, where he cultivated and cultivated wine at the Agricultural Products & Promotion Center. I learned brewing. After completing his master's degree and experiencing a vintage at négociant in Cholay-les-Beaune, he returned to Oregon and released his first 180 cases of Pinot Noir in 1999. In 2001, a winery was completed in the Chuheilum Mountains, and we gradually increased our own vineyards in other sub-regions.

Currently, all of our five 40ha vineyards have been cultivated using biodynamics since the time they were first cultivated, and each wine is fermented naturally using native yeasts at low yields. In addition to our own vineyards, we also release limited edition wines from our contract vineyards in Shay and Temperance Hill. In recent years, we have focused on Chardonnay in addition to Pinot Noir, and the barrel selection of the highest quality and finesse cuvée, ``Sigrid Chardonnay,'' is currently ranked among the top class of Oregon Chardonnay.

It has been selected as one of Wine & Spirits magazine's ``TOP 100 Wineries of the Year'' for six consecutive years since 2011. It has also received high praise from magazines such as Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and International Wine Cellar, as well as from world-renowned wine critics such as Jancis Robinson, and its wines are exported to 11 countries around the world, including Europe and South America.

Dark cherry and raspberry fruit with a sweet kirsch-like aroma, and a bright, pure fruit flavor that spreads smoothly. Fine tannins form the backbone, with sweet spice and earthiness emerging.
