Gimlet Gravels

Gimlet Gravels is located on the right bank of the Nagaruroro River, which flows from east to west in north-central Hawke's Bay, and covers an area of ​​800ha that was once the bed of the Nagaruroro River, with thick gravelly soil up to 100m deep. Although it is not certified as a government-certified production area, the wine label is labeled as ``Gimlet Gravels'' because the gravelly soil produces grapes with a unique and concentrated flavor (more than 95% of grapes are used).
