Domaine Caillot, the hidden master of Meursault
A domaine based in Meursault, founded in 1962 by renowned winemaker Roger Caillot. The current owner, Michel, inherited this domaine from his father in the late 1990s and has actively invested in fields and brewing equipment to enhance the winery. Currently, he owns 16 ha of fields, including the famous Meursault for whites, Puligny-Montrachet, Batard-Montrachet, and Santenay, and reds for Pommard and Volnay. His wines, which are full of talent inherited from his father, are extremely excellent, with a strong aromatic and fruity flavor and elegance. We have a long aging period to produce classic, long-aged wines.

Michel is a down-to-earth, artisanal winemaker. Michel Caillot is a quiet but talented winemaker with an overflowing passion for wine making. While following traditional brewing techniques, he incorporates organic farming methods and new brewing methods, and is silently striving to improve quality every day.

Commitment to the best time to drink
At Domaine Caillot, we do not release our wine until it has matured to a satisfactory level. Extending the aging period gives finesse to white wines and complexity to red wines, pursuing the finest taste. This is a wine with a well-balanced minerality and acidity, and a pleasant lingering finish with many layers of flavor.
Monterly is a step behind in terms of popularity, but its taste, which is similar to Volney, is top-notch.
