This chateau is located in La Ronde-les-More, 30 km from Saint-Tropez in the south of France, near the Mediterranean Sea. The previous owner had sold grapes to a cooperative, but the current owner saw the potential of the area and bought the chateau in 1997, naming his two children Valentin and Clementine. By the way, we named it Chateau Les Valentine. The field is 35ha in size, all of which is in AC Cote de Provence La Ronde. The average age of the vines is 40 years, and in an ideal location in Provence, we produce wines that express our unique terroir. Eco-sale certified since 2008.

This area is closer to the coast and is more influenced by the sea. Although the daylight hours are long, strong winds from the sea prevent extreme temperature differences, resulting in a very dry microclimate. The 600mm of rain per year is concentrated in spring and autumn and promotes the growth of grapes, while the hot summer allows the grapes to fully ripen. Mistral, which blows from the northwest, plays a role in preventing diseases, and the soil, which is composed of pebbly topsoil rich in quartz and old colluvial layers and bedrock layers of schist (crystalline schist), has excellent drainage and is ideal for grape cultivation. suitable for The cystic soil, found only in this area of ​​Provence, gives the wine a soft, plump flavor with a mineral feel. Additionally, the fields are surrounded by lush garrigue and pine forests, which give the rosé wine its unique flavors of anise and dried herbs.

La Ronde-les-Mole was recognized by the INAO (National Institute of Designations of Origin) for its wonderful terroir, and in 2008, AC Côtes de Provence La Ronde was born as a rosé and red cru. . Valentine's top cuvée ``CUVEE 8'', produced as AC La Ronde, gives you the feel of a high-quality Grand Cru. Grapes are grown using biologic farming methods. Yields are kept low and everything is harvested by hand. Brewing also involves minimal human intervention. The rosé and white are exposed to low-temperature skin contact to bring out their flavor, while the red is macerationed for 3 weeks and aged in barrels for 10 months to extract complex flavors and sufficient tannins.

A 50% blend of Ugni Blanc from vines over 80 years old. A dry wine with an attractive sweet scent like white flowers and refreshing acidity.
