Grüber is a pioneer in the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria, which is internationally recognized as a wine-producing region. He has been farming in Rositz since 1814, and began full-scale grape cultivation and winemaking in the 1950s. This is a family-run winery. In 2001, Ewald Jr., the Gruber family's eldest son, took over as winemaker, followed by his younger sister Maria and younger brother Christian, and today the three of us work together to produce organically certified, fruity and elegant wines that are natural and eco-friendly. Rositz, where the winery is located, has unique and excellent soils in the Weinviertel region, consisting of loess, loam, granite and black soil. The temperature difference between day and night is large, and the climate is cool with northerly winds that blow throughout the year. The fields owned by Gruber consist of 80 ha at an altitude of 250 to 320 m, and are comprised of 150 plots, mainly around Rositz, each of which is carefully managed (some fields are managed jointly with other growers). We converted to organic in 2013 and received certification in 2016.

At first, wine was made for home consumption (and local consumption) (from a 3-hectare vineyard), but wine production began in earnest in the 1950s, and current owner Ewald Jr.'s father (Ewald) A new cellar has been built with modern and state-of-the-art equipment. After earning a master's degree in winemaking and gaining extensive experience at wineries in Australia and New Zealand, Ewald Jr. has been in charge of brewing at our winery since 2001. His sister Maria is in charge of marketing and commercials, and his brother Christian is a grower who is passionate about growing high-quality grapes, always putting quality over quantity. His passionate father, Ewald, retired in 2012, but he still manages the vineyard with Christian.

Pep means "cute". Plenty of fruit flavor with a slightly sweet berry flavor. The smooth and smooth taste is attractive.
