The Paran family, known as great Burgundian wine producers, established the first steps in growing grapes in Volnay in the mid-17th century, and in 1803 they moved to Pommard, where they established the winery that became the basis of the current Domaine Paran. Did.

The company owns approximately 25 hectares of vineyards centered around Pommard, and the spirit of seeking the perfect wine, which has been passed down from the mid-17th century to the present day, is still passed down to the 12th generation head of the family, Anne Parin, and her sister Catherine. While respecting the history and tradition of the Paran family, it has evolved into a style that reflects women's sensibilities with softness and elegance. We are currently converting to organic farming.

The vines are planted on clay-calcareous soils that are stained red in places by iron oxidation. This provides excellent conditions for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Harvesting is also done by hand.
