Champagne presented to Queen Marie Antoinette
Piper Heidsieck is one of the historic Champagne houses founded in 1785 by Florence Louis Heidsieck. Florence Louis had a strong desire to create champagne fit for a queen. True to this word, Heidsieck's extremely sophisticated Champagne became popular at the royal court and was presented to Marie Antoinette, Queen of France at the time. Currently, Champagne colors the so-called "red carpet" such as the Cannes Film Festival and the Academy Awards Ceremony. We own vast vineyards from the Montagne de Reims area to the Côte des Bars area, and use grapes from over 100 carefully selected fields to make wine. By blending mainly Pinot Noir with Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, and adding 10 to 15% reserve wine, the resulting wine is well-balanced, fresh and elegant. The result is a beautiful golden champagne with aroma and fruity taste. All of our vineyards are certified with HVE (certified as environmental value) and VDE ( We have obtained double certification from the Champagne region's unique sustainability certification.

In the past, Piper-Heidsieck has been in the spotlight for its collaboration with fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier (1999) and limited edition bottle design in collaboration with shoe designer Christian Louboutin (2010). In recent years, innovative, seductive, and photogenic limited edition packaging has been attracting attention.
